What's Brewing in the Soup PotOnce again by popular demand, we return with our Playwrights Festival. We are currently accepting submissions for our Outside the Box play festival. If you have a play you've been working on, we are accepting submissions by postal mail. Please see our address on the contact page. We will accept scripts from both those who have a director and cast in mind or would like to handle it themselves, and from those who would need help finding them. Please indicate with your submission which group you fall into, however, as some preference will be given to those who already have a cast and director. May 2008 Directed by Corey McDaniel Bret Fetzer's sprightly adaptation draws on the original fairy tale and the movie version by Jean Cocteau to create a theatrical adaptation that blends the familiar story with a few new wrinkles, including a talking horse, Beauty's addled younger sister Daffodil, and the Beast and Beauty offering each other different interpretations of their strange romance with puppet versions of themselves.
